Our Post Covid-19 Reopening Plan

Like many other London conference venues, we have been working hard behind the scenes to put a number of measures in place to ensure the safety of our clients and guests for when we’re given the go ahead to reopen.

We have consulted a range of sources, including the latest government advice when compiling these measures. We will review these on a regular basis and amend as necessary but we wanted to share them with you now.

Social Distancing:

We will comply with all social distancing guidelines (2 meters apart) for each event.

Reception Desks:

Both our ground floor and first floor reception desks will be protected by screens. Hand sanitiser and wipes will be provided for delegates on arrival. We will operate and manage a queue system allowing 2m distance between delegates.

Conference Centre:

Conferences taking place in our largest capacity Constellation Suite can also be streamed in our largest breakout room, Alexander Graham Bell to safely increase delegate numbers.

We are increasing the frequency of cleaning throughout the venue and will have extra hand sanitizing gel stations available for all guests.

Our digital signage will provide venue and event-specific social distancing measures and other key information for delegates.

Catering:

Our catering team, who already deliver exceptionally high food and health safety standards, will be taking extra precautions once service resumes include providing staff with additional Covid-19 secure training.

Food will be served in individual portions or as pre-packed meals. Where required we will provide bamboo tongs and place cutlery into paper sleeves to minimise any risks. Hand sanitiser/hand washing stations will be located near to food delivery points with instructional signage on how best to stay safe. Staff will wear gloves when delivering and removing food. Guests will be required to queue with 2m social distancing gaps and our team will be on hand to help with this.

Staff:

Our team will receive additional training and will be fully briefed on social distancing and safety measures. We will also provide masks and gloves for all staff members.

We will continue to develop these plans over the coming weeks as we prepare to open our doors again and will let you know of any key changes.
