Here at 99 City Road Conference Centre, we are working hard to help our clients to re-book their planned events. We are also assisting them to begin organising new events through a hybrid event model that combines physical and virtual elements.
We’ve been hosting hybrid events here for many years, working with clients to livestream their events and create interactive elements for remote audiences. We envisage that hybrid events will become more prominent in the months ahead as we take our first steps into hosting live events again.
It’s easy to see why hybrid events are so popular. Some key benefits include:
- Improved Reach – with social distancing in place, physical audience sizes are going to be reduced but that’s no reason for delegates to miss out. It’s particularly helpful if your stakeholders are based around the world as it means a reduction in travel expenses and time away from work.
- More Cost Effective – with fewer people in a conference centre and a wider remote audience you can keep your budget down and only need to cater for those who are physically at your event. You’ll also benefit from the professional set up and high-quality sound and visuals of a smaller venue while reaching a huge audience.
- Immersive Experience – hybrid events can still offer remote delegates an immersive experience with the opportunity to send in feedback, comments or use a chat feature to create a discussion and networking opportunities. Sponsors can also have interactive branding on online platforms giving them additional exposure.
- New marketing opportunities – if you’re hosting a sales-driven event then you could send out a pre-event package to all remote delegates with product samples to be enjoyed during the event. You can encourage remote social tagging to further elevate your event’s online reach and show off your creativity.
